Can Pregnancy Occur if...................

If penetration only happens for a few seconds, can a woman get pregnant? Anytime the penis comes into direct contact with the vaginal area, there is the chance of pregnancy. The chance may not be as high as if intercourse with ejaculation took place, but there is still a risk. The transmission of STDs can also happen through any type of skin to skin contact like this.

Can pregnancy occur if a woman and a guy have faux sex or dry sex? (This is when there is no penetration, but there is skin to skin contact of the genital area.) Again, anytime the penis and the vaginal area come into contact, there is the slight risk of pregnancy and a risk for STD transmission.

Can a woman get pregnant from pre-ejaculation? Pre-ejaculation is the liquid that seeps out of the penis before ejaculation occurs. Most guys have no control over it and cannot feel it coming out. This type of fluid does have sperm in it and can result in pregnancy. This is part of the reason why the withdrawal method of birth control is not as effective as other methods.

Can pregnancy occur if the woman does not have an orgasm? Yes, pregnancy can occur even if a woman does not have an orgasm. An orgasm is not related to an egg being available for fertilization.

Can sperm travel through clothing or material? If the clothing was completely saturated with semen and was in direct contact with a woman’s vagina, there is a very slight chance the sperm could enter the vagina, but this is highly unlikely. No conclusive studies have been found to give a definite answer on this possibility.

Can a woman get pregnant from having sex in water? If actual intercourse takes place in any type of water, pregnancy is definitely a possibility. This is because intercourse will allow the sperm to be directly deposited in the vaginal area, and the water on the outside of the body would not interfere with this.

Can pregnancy occur if ejaculation takes place in water? It is not likely that tiny sperm could travel through the vast area of water that would fill a pool, bath tub or hot tub to reach the vagina and result in pregnancy. If ejaculation occurred in plain warm water, sperm could survive for a few minutes. If ejaculation occurs in very hot water, or water filled with pool chemicals, bubbles or other substances, sperm would not be able to survive for more than a few seconds. Pregnancy occurring from this is very unlikely and in most cases is not possible at all.

Can pregnancy occur from having anal sex? Pregnancy cannot occur from the act of anal sex, but because the vaginal opening and the anus are very close together, there is the chance that sperm could leak into the vagina and travel to fertilize an egg.

Can ejaculating numerous times lessen the chance of pregnancy occurring? The number of times ejaculation takes place does not affect the chance of pregnancy. Each ejaculation contains about 300 million sperm, and only one is needed to fertilize an egg.

Is sperm dead once it reaches the air? Does oxygen kill sperm? No, this is a myth that many people believe in, but it is not true! Once sperm is DRY it is dead and cannot travel to fertilize an egg. Sperm can live for 3-5 days if it is in a warm, moist environment such as the cervix of a woman. Sperm cannot come back to life once it has dried, even if it is remoistened!

Wondering about pregnancy, what do I do next? You may have just discovered that pregnancy is a possibility in your particular circumstance. Don't panic; as noted above, in most cases the possibilities of pregnancy are rare. Your next step is to begin watching for early pregnancy symptoms. If you experience any of these symptoms then you will want to take a pregnancy test. You can take an over the counter test, or you can contact the Association to locate a testing center in your area.

Is swallowing cum good for you?

By: Spindizzy

Doing research for this answer I found that many people voice their opinion with little fact to back it up. I will try to answer this as un-biased and fact-based as possible. Lets start here. http://www.faqfarm.com/Q/Is_swallowing_semen_safe

"Swallowing semen from a disease-free male during sex is generally safe. There is nothing unhealthy about swallowing unless the person has an STD. Bodily fluids except for tears and saliva are agents that transmit some STD's such as AIDS and HIV.

Many people have questions about oral sex and disease transmission: Can you catch an STD from oral sex? Can get other diseases from swallowing cum? Will swallowing cum hurt you or make you sick? Is it safer to spit than to swallow? We'll attempt to demystify some of these issues.

First the Good News Cum is an all-natural bodily fluid that doesn't harbor any diseases or harmful bacteria in a healthy person. The purpose of semen is to transport sperm to the female ova, and it is a high-protein, nutrient-rich medium designed to support and sustain the spermatazoa during their relatively brief journey. The sperm themselves also present no threat in the digestive tract, and are neutralized by gastric fluids by the time they reach the stomach.

If anything, swallowing the cum of a healthy male may in fact be good for you, since it is a highly concentrated source of protein, minerals, natural sugars, and other nutrients. Healthy seminal fluid is mostly fructose and proteins, and doesn't contain any harmful chemicals. The slightly bleachy smell of semen comes from its alkaline pH and minute traces of chlorine, but if it's mild enough for a vagina, it's not going to be any harsher on your mouth or throat.

Because the ducts and glands that produce the components of semen feed into the urethra, the same passage that carries urine out of the penis, cum may pick up some traces of urea or uric acid. However, these are harmless, as is healthy urine in general. The urinary tract of a healthy person contains only trace amounts of bacteria, and there are no substances in urine that are harmful to consume in the quantities excreted normally.

The Not-so Good News The sort of good news is that swallowing your partner's cum will not put you at any greater risk for catching an STD. The flip side is that if your partner does have an STD, by the time you've had unprotected oral sex with them, whether you swallow or not, you've been exposed to whatever they're carrying.

Having unprotected oral sex (giving a blow job without a condom) is risky. Some of the disease that can be transmitted through oral sex if your partner is infected include herpes, genital warts, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis. The risk of HIV transmission through oral sex is still undetermined. Some experts say there is little to no risk of getting HIV through fellatio, while some say there is possible risk, especially if there are cuts or sores in the mouth of the person performing oral sex.

Because most of the STDs mentioned are transmitted through contact with sores or lesions on the genitals, or are present in the pre-ejaculate fluid (precum), a person performing unprotected oral sex on an infected partner has already been exposed even before their partner ejaculates. If your partner cums in your mouth, you may be exposed to additional quantities of STD pathogens in the semen, which can infect you through the mucous membranes in your mouth and throat or through small cuts or scrapes on the inside of the mouth.

However, if you've already gone that far, swallowing the semen isn't going to put you at much additional risk. If anything, once the cum is in your mouth, swallowing may be the quickest way to get rid of it. Once you've swallowed, your digestive enzymes and acids will probably destroy any germs in the semen, and your stomach and intestines are not vulnerable to infection by STDs.

If your partner has cum in your mouth and you are concerned about STDs, you can minimize your risk by either quickly spitting or swallowing. The point is just to get the cum out of your mouth quickly one way or another. Then whether you've spit or swallowed, gargle and rinse your mouth thoroughly with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution (the type available in drug stores for first aid). This will kill any germs in your mouth and throat and wash them out of cuts in the mucous membranes."

So, is it safe? Sure if your partner is disease free. If you are unsure or they don't know, then it can be risky. But most of your risk in this activity will be from STD's and very little else. You should always practice safe sex, and get tested often.

Celibacy & Church Scandal

I recently saw an article in my local newspaper that made a lot of sense to me, and figured this would be the best forum to discuss it!

The Article is written by: Reverend Bryan Griem of the Montrose Community church.

The Roman Catholic Church is deliberately overlooking the obvious.

Human beings are sexual creatures; we wouldn't be here if that weren't so. God created sex, called it "good," and commanded we experience it by filling the earth. He ascribed no special holiness to deniers of this God-given nature exercised in God-designed contexts, and he nowhere mandated that only eunuchs qualify as clergy.

Besides, how is it better to be unfamiliar with what is part-and-parcel of every parishioner's normal existence?
Saint Peter had a wife; Jesus healed his "mother-in-law" (Matthew 8:14-15) NIV, and St. Paul said "We have the right to take a believing wife along with us, as do the other apostles (1 Corinthians 9:5 NIV). So celibacy wasn't even modeled for us by Christ's personally ordained leaders!

This said, it doesn't explain deprived, heterosexual, religious men would assault underage boys, and most of these abuse cases involve young teenage boys, not generally small children or girls. That would make these not generally heterosexual pedophile cases, but instances of hebephilia or ephebophilia. These are perversions of heterosexuality in that they're homosexual, and worse because they prey upon minors.

How would celibacy rules contribute to an environment where this occurs? Consider that unstable men, struggling with their own sexual disorders, may seek out such rigid regulations to restrain themselves. If all sex is forbidden, then they won't be having perverted sex, right? The problem is, they wind up in all-male institutions with like-minded seminarians, and a sort of conspiracy occurs. Then they're assigned parishes replete with endless stables of altar boys. Cycle complete.

I say, have the pope go sit on his chair, agree with God, then make an ex cathedra pronouncement affirming what Catholics already know- that god doesn't forbid ministers marriage, and that the age of pederast priests is over!!!
